Crown Princess Inaugural Festivities

Staff members of Antietam Travel Service, Inc. (ATS) recently
participated in inaugural festivities of Princess Cruises’
Crown Princess. Travel consultants
Julie Shanholtz and Pat O'Beirne were onboard and witnessed the
christening of the ship by Godmother Martha Stewart, founder of
Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, in New York on June 14. Master of Ceremonies for the
inaugural festivities was Gavin MacLeod, best known as Captain
Merrill Stubing on television's hit series The Love Boat in the 1970's
and 1980's.
Crown Princess is 952 feet in length and 113,000
gross tons. Passenger capacity is 3,080, based on double occupancy.
Ship highlights include the 300 square-foot Movies Under the Stars
outdoor movie theater, dramatic new piazza-style atrium, wedding
chapel featuring wedding-at-sea program officiated by the ship's
captain, dedicated conference center/meeting rooms, world-class art
collection, nine-hole putting course and golf simulator, wrap-around
promenade deck, four pools, sports court and jogging track,
Asian-themed Lotus spa with ocean-view gym, three main dining rooms,
Caribbean-themed Café Caribe, and two specialty restaurants.

Mediterranean Cruise
Our
Mediterranean Cruise Night on June 27th was a huge
success! About 60 people attended. It appears that there is great
interest in Europe for 2007.
Debbie Riffle has 45 people already booked into her group on
Celebrity Cruises' Millennium May 25, 2007, sailing.

Baltimore Cruises in 2007
Royal Caribbean International has announced new
itineraries for their Grandeur of the Seas sailing from Baltimore
in 2007. New 9-night sailings to the Eastern Caribbean will feature San
Juan Puerto Rico; St. Thomas, USVI; Punta Cana, Dominican Republic; and Labadee, Haiti.
We have group space on the May 18, June 15, July 13, August 10, October 5 and
19, and November 2 sailings. Prices start at $762.491 per person, double
occupancy, for an inside stateroom, $942.491 per person, double occupancy, for
an outside stateroom, and $1,292.491 per person, double occupancy, for a balcony
stateroom (October 5, 19, and November 2 sailings).
Canada/New England 9-night sailings will feature Portland and Bar Harbor
in Maine; St. John, New Brunswick; Halifax, Nova Scotia; and Boston,
Massachusetts. We have group space on the June 29, July 27, August 24,
and September 21 sailings. Prices start at $1,118.381 per person,
double occupancy, for an inside stateroom, $1,378.381 per person,
double occupancy, for an outside stateroom, and $1,598.381 per
person, double occupancy, for a balcony stateroom (August 24 and
September 21 sailings)!
Bermuda 5-night sailings to King's Wharf will continue in 2007.
